Put a cutout on it, sounds soo much better... you won't be dissapointed. You can get a stainless one for like 50 bucks.

Magnaflow quite possibly has the sexiest sound with long tubes for catbacks. Ultra mean, yet somewhat exotic at the same time.

Magnaflow is still raspy though without cats.

do NOT, ever in your life, install a flowmaster anything on any LS1. It sounds either like **** or like a fucked up powerboat that has just flipped over 15 times and is sinking, rapidly.

Yah, i thought about the xr-1, but I have clearance issues as it is, plus a 3.5" driveshaft doesnt help. Ill just try the powerstick with a cutout after it so I can change up the tones. As long as I can get rid of most of the rasp, i will be happy. What electric cutout would yall recommend?

DMH all the way chris! I HATE my QTP. It works when it feels like it and opens/closes slow as hell...

Ya, had my dmh on for 2.5 years and it works perfectly. Fully opens/closes within 2 seconds and performs flawlessly.

That is what I used for my lm2

Yah, some people like it. In fact, my old exhaust setup was pretty much like a borla system with no plate, and it was raspy as hell. But it had a different tone and I actually liked it. But the tone from corsa rasp sounds rediculous, and it is so damn loud!

What's your beef with putting cats on? They will eliminate the rasp. Good high flow ones wont cost HP, they make the car sound more refined, and they are good for the environment.
