Default project ls6 intake begins!

so im going to take the ls6 intake i got and convert it to a 90mm tb using an ls2 intake i picked up for a 100 bux. tomorrow ill post some pics with the tb snout cut off and then ill post more pics when its done. once my trans is fixed ill take the car to the track with the ls1 intake on then swap to the ls6 and go back to the track to see what i gain. i might leave the current tune alone to see what it gains without changing it. i havent decided on that yet.

Default Pics

Sorry guys i've been busy with other things and havent had the time to work on this. here are some pics of the way everything looks at the moment. as you can see i left alot of material on the ls2 tb opening so it can be trimmed down little by little so i can get the fit im looking for. i allready trimmed it down a bit and will probably trim it more. im going to attach it to the intake by using a plastic welder once i get the final fitment.

I would have cut apart a stock LS1 intake and tried to put it back together before doing this to something valuable...
