So i got my exhaust finished btw sir. Im very happy with it. Im looking to get someone who can take a decent sound clip of it.
No cam or heads for me. If it were to blow up that may be a different story. I would rather run a power adder later if I were to ever want to do something.

What exhaust did you go with BTW?

I wouldn't do it on a bolt on car. I just finished my 90/90 install and 85mm maf and had it on the dyno yesterday. I picked up a little bit of torque on the bottom end but ended up losing about 5hp up top over my LS6 intake.

This is on an lq4 bottom end, stock 241's, and 228/230 cam. I expect to see large gains with my CNC'd heads in a couple months though when the engine can use all this extra air.

LOL!!
Yes, i guess that i am being a little modest.. It is a healthy cam @ 236/242 610lift... it does pretty well..

I am certain, that the unported 243's will definately run out of breath, and most likely, my SVO30's,stock fuel pump will not provide the fuel she will need for full potential.

I have plans for some Trick Flow's 215's in the not too distant future, along with Walboro FP, Green top 42lb injectors...

The car is definately a "Work in progress"..

Back to the OP... make things "Conducive" to YOUR set up.. in other words, don't put the cart before the horse.

GL.. thanks for the comments.. forgive my

You'll see phenomenal gains especially mid-range and top-end..if the LS6 heads don't run out of breath. Pretty much all you need is a good set of AFR's and your maxed out.

That's cool. I'm wondering about the fuel situation in my case as well. Kind of why I set my goal to the 400 HP level when the rear and everything else is about at the end before needing upgrading. Making that jump adds dollars $$$

Brother, you will NOT make 400rwhp to the wheels w/o cam, and your mod's to a stalled A4... IMO it cannot be done with a stall, some bolt on's, and a FAST intake... "I could be wrong", but i do not see it..

Hell, with all of my mods (LS6 intake) i made 403/405 to the wheels.. This through a 3in True dual set up, into a 3in Center Mount Exhaust.. Had i just had them dumped,, you could easily add 5-10rwhp.. Do the math..

I would be surprised if you made 360 to the wheels with your current set up + the FAST... I would love for you to prove me wrong. It's just the reality with the stalled cars...

Anyone else....?

Stalled probably not. But if the math is right my Stang dyno numbers x 7% to a Dynojet puts me at 377 RWHP. I'm told 1.85's are worth 10 HP (especially with my truck cam LOL) so 390 is damn close. I know a stall eats a ton but I am dynoing on Fran's new Dynojet this time. I get my 11.5-11.8 run and I am happy but if not I will pull out some weight before it gets hot out to make it happen.

Wow, now that's a good gain. Can you post the before & after graphs on that?

was there tuning done?

i find it hard to imagine you gained almost 50hp from just the intake....no matter how big the h/c were.

Typical response.. 48rwhp with those mod's, and an "unknown cam" to boot...

I am holding my breath to see these dyno sheets..

The Lt's 3 in 4 out 4 out Flowmaster merge Bullet right on the end. Its not near as loud as you would think. I mean its loud but not like open pipes. And God the tone is deep. Thing sets off car alarms like 3 a day. I really want a good sound clip.

P.S. No turndown yet since no one can bend 4 in pipe.. My head hurts..
