Default Should i paint them red or leave them?

Well i polished up my valve covers and not sure what i should do i originally was going to paint them red but they look pretty good polished up....

What do you think?

Its your choice and personal taste and is really up to you.. If it looks good to you. go for it.

You spent some time on that. I hit mine on the wheel quick once and decided I had better things to do Go ahead and run them polished for awhile. You can always throw some paint on at a later date if they gray back up pretty quickly.

either polish them up some more and clear them or paint them

don't put them back with nothing or you're wasting your time...I was gonna polish mine but decided it would be too much work and I actually think they look better painted black anyway

go get some of that anodized black paint and throw it on there see how that works for ya i got mine from autozone...

so if i leave them i need to clear coat them so they dont grey out again? I guess if i dont like it i can paint them red later they arent that bad to take off.....

i painted them red on my car along with the coils. painted the bracket gloss black. this is an old pic

I just thought there was too much gray/silver in my bay so I painted the accessory brackets, coil brackets, and valve covers semi gloss black

Looks good to me

painted mine with duplicolor metalcast....red anodized.

over the past few years the paint has gotten darker, due to heat i suspect. needs a repaint.

but it looked good when done new.

Here's mine painted red, used some duplicolor caliper paint that I had left over.

I thought about polishing but upkeep is a bitch.
