Here is your PCV configuration, let me know what you think. I only show one turbo but you can plumb the clean air source to either or both inlets.

looks great. now if i ever get different valve covers with no ports in the back. will this still work. and aaron thanks for the infor.

but let me know what size can and line i need.

Which valley cover?

No problem eliminating the crossover line in the rear. I'm working on the can config now. You can plumb the fresh air line into either or both turbo inlets.

yes there is a port about the TB. what goes there? or do i jsut use the port in the manifold?

and on the clean side, between to turbo and the can. should there be a one way check valve going towards can. so stop it from sucking air out of valve cover on boost.

thanks

Concerning cans, I have the DC-3. For your application I'm going to recommend custom dual 'Stage 2 OCC' cans. On forced induction applications you need as much flow as possible through the PCV system to slow blow by to 1 meter/second or less. This means you need larger hoses and cans with larger internal tubes.

Once I post your configuration and you agree, you can take that and email SM or RevXtreme and have them custom manufacture the cans. More details on exact can configuration later this evening.

I can't post a link, but if you go to SM's website and selet the 'Stage 2 OCC' on the left, it will give you an idea of what the can looks like.

NO one-way valve on the clean side in diagram https://ls1tech.com/forums/11744506-post178.html.

Plug the port on the throttle body.

There is a fixed orifice in the valley cover that should be removed.

No, the box under the valley cover serves as a method to slow PCV flow so carry-over oil will drop out of suspension from the blow-by stream. Don't remove the box, find the restrictor in the tube and remove it.

Reference this diagram. Under boost the clean side flow will reverse if crankcase pressure is excessive. This is why a second catch can on the clean side is needed.

can you update this to also have the ls2 and ls3 set up.

whn i built my motor i ordered the ls3 valley cover. it has a wierd black box under it. do i pulll form there

-i am wanting to run twin cans.

-i have ls3 valley cover and ls3 valve covers.

- i am running twin turbos.

- also i have ls2 intake manifold(idk if that matters)

thanks for all the help
Big_Bird_WS6,

Here is another option, albeit more complex, for your application. This offers dual paths on clean and dirty sides and addresses your concern on clean side reverse flow.

Sorry for the delayed response, I've had to research your application. A few questions:
  1. Does your passenger side valve cover have a PCV valve in the rear or is it just a nipple?
  2. Looking at your diagram, is the passenger valve cover plumbed into the intake along with the vacuum booster and idle actuator? i.e. all tee'd together?
  3. Does the blower have a plenum the throttle body bolts to?
  4. Do you have any pictures?
I have only just back into town myself 405HP_Z06. To answer your questions.
1. There is no PCV in the whole system. The passenger side is a straight outlet.
2. Yes is all tee'd together. everything. Valley Port, Passenger valve cover, etc.
3. Plenum as such, no, as soon as you remove the throttle body you can see the two 'screw' shafts in the blower".
4. Will try to get some in the light tomorrow.
At this stage I am thinking of running the valley port and the passenger valve cover to the can and back to the intake and fresh air intake to the drivers valve cover.

Hope to hear your thoughts.

It currently has the LS1 cover - I haven't done the LS6 mod, as I'm not entirely comfortable cutting on the block myself, and I havent' found a speed shop that can do it yet either locally.

jackojr,
What ports do you have where? Do you have any that are currently capped off? I can't find any pictures of a PWR supercharger with a dual bore throttle body.

can i call you? or you call me?

i understand it to a point. just idk. i dont care which way i do it. and you seem to know your ****. so just tell me which way is better. i understand how the clean side goes in revese with the crank case gets to much.

but with the dual lines. now that really got my brain going.

ok so on the dirty side. the reason you have two lines. and one with a one-way valve is when pressure build in the intake and shuts off the normal vaccume effect. then the turbo is sucking out the dirty air.

and same with the clean side. so the turbo sucks out the dirty air?

so what replaces the dirty air with clean air under boost?

and i dont keep asking to be a pain in your ***. i just want to learn.

pm if you want my number.

thanks
