I'm a big fan of my gmmg with long tubes and cats. It sounds great and is loud, but very reasonable in the cabin. Can easily talk and hear music. Laying into it and being outside of the car, that's a whole other story

i have the gmmg with Lt's and ory. it is fairly loud. it doesn't bother me because it is just a cruising car that gets maybe 500 miles a year. i do like the sound. there is some rasp though. i haven't heard the loudmouth on anything but a stock car with stock cats. on that car the loudmouth sounded pretty good at low rpms. i haven't even heard it at higher rpms. i would not buy the gmmg again. it does seem fairly heavy and i personally don't think it flows as well as some other systems. i have heard of a few people say their back to back dyno runs with the magnaflow made more power than their gmmg's. i don't know if it is the smaller pipes that come out of the gmmg or what. i am not disappointed in buying it but i wouldn't buy another one. i would sell mine if i had a local pick up. i don't dislike it enough to take it off and deal with shipping it.

I have the gmmg with lt's and a catted Y. The gmmg's not cheap and there are a lot less expensive options but I wouldn't swap it for any other catback exhaust I've heard. I had the gmmg on my car before I had headers and everyone has always talked about how they like the way it sounds. LT's made it louder but the sound isn't overly loud if you're not at WOT.

I'm not a fan of the sound of LM's at all, between those 2 I would definately go with GMMG. Of course, I would go Corsa over either of them though.

GMMG is the way to go, cant beat the sound. had slp before and put on the gmmg, and boy what a difference. GMMG is sound whereas slp is just noise.

I had the LM on mine from 2001-2003. Sounded ok, very raw, but the interior drone on the highway was annoying. I switched to GMMG in 2003 and it was a big improvement. It now had a more tuned sound, and quieter inside the car. But still aggressive with normal driving and loud at WOT.

the fit for the GMMG was also better. With the LM, I had to adjust it a few times, it kept causing a rattling noise where the pipe goes over the axle.

GMMG all the way !

Lightbulb

Depends on the rest of your exhaust set-up and motor work, if any.

If the 5.7/346 is stock with NO headers, GMMG for the sound.

If there is headers or ANY motor work, Loudmouth for sound AND performance/weight.

Not necessarily, I know a guy with a fully built lq9 making 580whp all motor with 11.5 to 1 comp. with the gmmg exhaust and is by far the sickest sounding car I have ever heard, period. Whether its stock or fully built, there is nothing like GMMG.

I like my LM1,ORY, and pacesetters. Not to many people sound like me at wot. I like it when people say man your car is just to loud. This guy where I use to live called my car the dragon, made me laugh.
