The coated headers will start to show rust and they will also discolor over time. I'm with 9000th01ss on this, I have NEVER saw a pair of headers rusted through except for the junkyard. The paint on the painted headers will burn off and if it's not a show car then who cares.

coated headers here, no rust .. no issues .. and it was a DD for a little while. u clearly wanna save money - and being uncoated clearly wont hurt anything.. so get the painted lt's and move on to bigger and better things to mod lol
