Default LTs ORY Stock Catback Sound Clip

Anyone have some sound clips from this combo? I'm thinking of changing to this if it is quiet and doesn't drone.

Thoughts opinions

Currently I have TDs Dumps Dynomax Bullets

That legacy in your video is raping the heck out of those LS cars. Whats up with that?

why do that and then get restricted from a stock muffler? when you have TD's that will flow better. Why not just find quiter mufflers for your car and if you dont have cats buy some cats

A SLP dual/dual muffler actually flows quiet nicely, but yeah the Z one wouldn't get be good.

And to answer your question, I can have a sound clip for you in a couple of weeks. Right now I've got the stock setup with the SLP dual/dual muffler with CME and over my spring break I'll be installing LPP stainless LT's and ORY so I can have a clip for you after like the 14th or 15th of March. Let me know if you want to wait that long and I'll try to get a video for you.

My car came with the slp dual/dual exhaust and when it was all stock you could barely hear it. After I added the long tubes, removed the cats and built a custom 3" Y-pipe it really woke it up. I'll be adding heads and cam here in the next few weeks so it will only get louder

Here's my soundclip, with BBK longtubes, ORY & stock CME exhaust. It sounds great, but wasnt loud enough for me so i swapped in a slp loudmouth2 muffler. It flowed great, but the SLP LM2 did open it up some more. Pretty stealthy though, opens up when you get on it but at cruise level's its still kinda quiet.

Ya I built my own Y-Pipe with a flowmaster merge collector which reduces the rasp. There is absolutely no drone in the car while cruising and you can talk to other people no problem. Slp dual dual + cutout I think is a hard setup to beat.

If your car is a SS (sorry I can't tell from the sig pic) than your stock muffler should be a dual dual.

yes the stock muffler is different than the slp dual/dual exhaust. SOME camaro ss's 98-02 got this catback from slp. it was an slp option and not a GM option. if your car was originally equipt with slp dual/dual it will say it on the inside of the passenger side door along with any other slp options the car may have. the gm ss exhaust has 2 single tips on each side. the slp exhaust has 2 tips on each side (hence the dual dual name)

I'm pretty sure there is no RPO code for it, it would be listed on the passenger side door with any other SLP content. Like mine says: 345 hp package (which is the dual/dual muffler with CME and the blackwing lid) and Chrome 10 spoke wheels. Do you still have your exhaust? It would have dual/dual tips, hint the name...
