witch head is better? how much hp gain do u think i would get going from a stock 241 head to a stock 243 head?
i have noticed u can get a used set of 243 ls6 heads for a decent price. just dont no if it would even be worth it. does anyone know what the differences are.

The 243's have a 64 cc combustion chamber and the 241's have a 66.67 cc combustion chamber. The 243's also have a D shaped exhaust port and flow a little better. Do like teke184 said and get them milled for even more compression.
not sure they are worth $500 unless they come with good springs already.
that's alot for a stock head.
ported heads are only about 2x that, and they'll flow much better.
you can run 11:1 or higher and still use 93. you shuold be fine.
