Default Magnaflow Catbacks price difference

Is there a good reason the one with the quad tips is $270 dollars more???
I really want the look so i guess i'll just have to pay for it.

Just had to rant abit about it.

I guess its still not 1100 like a corsa.

There you go man. That's the reason right there. It's a looks thing is all. If you like it then you'll have to fork up the extra $$

One thing to think about though... GMMG is like $750 shipped. Not too much more than the magnaflow quad tip system. Afterthoughts Auto has a set of the corsa knock off tips that look pretty damn good for $55.

What I am considering doing is picking up the GMMG and using the Corsa clones from them. You're looking at about $800 versus the Magnaflow quad tip system for just a hair under $700. Probably a little over $700 after shipping.

Just a thought.

Oh, well hell man, I'd just go for it then. Magnaflow systems don't sound bad at all. And the dual 4" tips on the quad tip system look great.

corsa can be had for 799.00 (non sponsor)

From what i read on here, the quad tipped kit is pricier due to more material being used on it. The tips have some sort of resonators inside of them as well. *some folks say the quad is queieter too?* I dont know how much of that is true but thats how the saying goes.

The quad tips do have a resonator in the tip but its not a noticeable difference at all. Im sooo happy my car came with these. I would gladly pay the extra dough for them.

Yea, I had to stop too because it was starting to rain. They can be really shiny when done right. The only problem with the quad is that the far driver side tip gets FAR more carbon deposits than any other tip. Its very noticeable after a week or two.

imo go with corsa clones. much cheaper and not a big fan of the "magnaflow" inscripted on them. rather some people think its a factor option. but thats my high opinion.

i was going to buy the magnaflow quad.... though but the tips were just to damn big from pictures ive seen. If they would have done dual 3inch outlets it would have been better... what are they like 4inch each? overpowering for the back of the car, and almost screams fart cannon, but maybe its just the pics ive seen?. no offense to anyone that owns one. just not my style i guess. love the corsas.

could you pm me with this info please?

Bballer- do you have any sound clips? if you get a chance, snap a pic from a bit farther, id like to see how they sit in the slots. Dont want em looking huge. Id like to know if these resonators could be removed too....
