Question Long Tubes 3 Choices

Alright so I have narowed it down to 3 choices for my 98 Camaro SS. Kooks which I hear nothing but good about them and they are the most expensive, QTP which are compaired to kooks and almost the same cost, or LPP which are way cheaper but i have heard they are very good to. What is your opionon on the 3. Performance, and sound are my major issues as it is to most people. I want a nice clean deep throaty sound, i dont want it to be high piched and raspy. and i am also putting TSP duals on it with the moroso spiral flows on it. Any help would be great, thanks.

Of your choices, Kooks have the most positive comments and manufacturing consistency. However, it seems like the company getting the most praise right now is ARH.

ARH for quality, fitment and customer service. Give them a call.

i have experience with qtp and they havent disapointed me whatsoever! fitment was great, quality of materials and welds was great and the price wasnt too bad compared to kooks. but on the other hand kooks and arh make great products which are almost identical to the qtp set so regardless you will get quality.

I'll never understand why people post about which headers will sound better. The tone of the car will be determined by what the exhaust setup is AFTER the headers. ALL headers, given the same primary and collector sizes, will sound the same to the human ear.

I like ARH, but Kooks and QTPs are good as well. I'm not familiar with the other brand you mentioned.

I love my Kooks. Fit great and havent given me any problems at all. Of your 3 choices I would most definitely go Kooks. You get what you pay for after all. I also hear very good things about ARH too. Worth it to check them out also.

Kooks all the way. Sound on all headers will be the same. Cat's, cat-back, heads & cam will change exhaust tone.

Judging by what it is you are looking for, go LPP. They are half the price and you will have 0 problems with them. They were VERY easy to install on my buddies car and you can use the extra money for some other very useful mods and getting the same power out of your headers! Can't beat stainless!!
