I bought that thing when it first came out. I felt like i got ripeed off. Because its just a little thin cup peice of plastic for 50 bucks. It probaly costed them 25cents for them to make. I didnt feel any gain and took it out and gave it to my buddy to try out. I dont know if he put it in yet. I wasted 50 bucks on that stuff. I would have been more satisfied buying a set of spark plug wires for that price.

I bought it and it made my car idle like crap. Put the Vararam Velocity Stack down and step away slowly.

So far we’ve gotten people who don’t like the looks/quality of it, and no seat of the pants increase. Do we have anyone with track time or dyno numbers? Everyone one says to port & polish the TB, but it’s this close to the same thing? Why would one be good and the other not?

Porting and polishing the throttle body makes the inside diamater larger thereby increasing airflow and horsepower. The velocity stack makes the inside diamater smaller but smoother. The smoothness doesn't make up for the smaller diamater inlet and negates any hp you would have gained. There's much better ways to spend $50.

Well....decided to try it out. Went to the 1/8 mile track today and ran 7.58 best time ever. Last Sat my best was 7.70 the only difference is the TB insert and the temp was about 5 degrees cooler. Not bad! Even before the track I noticed better throttle responce. It is worth the 50 bucks to me.

Yes, that was at Greer. I don't know if it will go any faster now without some headers and maybe heads. But, I am REAL happy with it now!! It is a good daily driver with full interior, no other weight reduction, I even have my granddaughter's car seat in there. lol

Oh, I forgot, I have no spare tire.
