This is the OP. He's not asking for 3" In and 3.5" Out nor 2.5" In and 3" Out.

But with the answers people are giving, I would conclude that no one makes a 3" In and 3" Out. Am I wrong? Can anyone answer the original question? I am curious as well if a 3" In and 3" Out can be had.

Flowmaster doesn't make a 3" in and out according to their site.

It does seem strange but throw something like this on there, http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
Again I'm assuming that the double end side of the merge is the 3" and the single side is 3.5" ? That would put this at approx. 3' long though, which might hamper the ability to have a muffler in the I-pipe.

Flowmaster does not make a 3" in and 3" out merge. The closest would be what TORCHD 02 TA posted. It is also what is on my car. Good stuff.

Thank you very much. I just completed my order for one of these. The summit website says these are stainless steel and after shipping it's still cheaper than the aluminized Flowmaster merge. Now I'll just have to figure out how to modify my Jet Hot Catted Y to integrate this piece. Thanks again for the info.

yeah thanks for the help everyone. I didn't want to reduce ground clearance even more with the 3.5" merge. I wonder which one scavenges better.

Just get the 3" x 3.5". I am running it w/o any ground clearance problems at all

If your goin to do head/cam in the future u want to get the flowmaster 3in 4in out. Because the extra velocity from ported heads will need all the 4 in piping to merge, then into a 3in exhaust. Pat G picked up 20 rwhp by doin this in his 500 rwhp recipe.

Right here

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku.

But use this only if u are gettin heads and cam. It can be used for cam only but will benefit better with Ported AFR Heads.

So you are saying we should use this 3" into 4" merge and then what...use a reducer to go back to 3" for the intermediate pipe? I wonder what the benefits of a quality 3 inch y-pipe using this 3" into 4" Flowmaster merge and then into say a 4" mufflex catback would be on a H/C car with specs like mine below.

For a head and cam car the FLO300400 (Part#) The whole point of my response is that you want the scavenging to meet together, not slam to each other like some y pipes. The 4 in is large enough to meet together and then flow back to a 3in intermediate pipe. Just like the one u see the link I attatched on previous post.
