Well, a lot of people have the TSP Lid and are pretty happy with it. A lot of people will just say a lid is a lid is a lid and that you should just get the cheapest one out there. Good luck and happy modding.

I pulled 310HP thru my automatic '02 with a SLP lid as my only mod. So, I'd say they work. Which is the best? I can't imagine they is honostly more than 2 HP diff in any of 'em.

Lid is a lid is a lid.

Buy one for looks or price, only important thing is that you get a aftermarket one.

Sorry, but I am going to have to disagree(sorta) with the above statements. I personally have seen many lids by different manufactueres and they have all been pretty much the same. However DO NOT go with Granitelli Motor Sports. The lid I got from them is the worst quality part I have ever bought. The plastic on it seems very fragile and it seems almost like it had repairs done to it on the inside. Besides Granitelli I would have to say a lid is a lid.

Anything but the Whisper lid. I had one on my car for over three years to find out I was sucking unfiltered air. Even though a design flaw in it Whisper would do nothing to help me out.

I'm happy with my TSP lid. They are one of the only ones with the 85mm lid, which is the main reason I went with them and after hearing such good things from friends. I had a direct-flow on my old car and loved it too.

TSP is for Texas Speed and Performance...they are a sponser for this board...you can click on the thing to the right with their logo on it and go from there. Yes, they have a carbon fiber lid, as well as black, clear and smoked clean...also the lids just went down in price.
Have fun.

I removed the mass air body and looked inside the lid with it on the car. I could see large gaps where it mated to the filter. I would have never know had I not looked inside as it installed nicely.

I have the SLP and was a little dissapionted. Took forever to get it to fit. It's a little taller than the rest so i had to shave it down to get it to seal plus it was rubbing on the hood. One lach would always pop off and it sat too far forward.

TSP lid, it FIT LIKE A GLOVE. It slid right into place in all areas. Its also the best designed lid out there in terms of air flow. I swapped out my SLP Blackwing lid for the TSP lid, and have no regrets.
