Default Quiet Magnaflow

I'm really having a hard time diggin my magnaflow set up because it's too quiet. It had a custom made set up from Denver removed because restricting the HP and stainless Magnaflow improved it, but now quieter. Thought it might be th equad billet tips, so converted to Mecham, still quiet.

any suggestions what I might move to without being a cop bait for being too loud?

LT's and ORY will make it a good bit louder. I personally love how quiet it is until you open her up and then it gets nice and loud.

Is this the quad tip kit? If so can someone post some videos? And for those that have it, how would you say its compared to the stock exhaust in terms of noise?

I agree. Here is my buddy's 98 Z28 with Jet Hot LT's, ORY, and Magnaflow Catback (not the quad tip version). Sounds awesome.

Do some more mods. I had to take the magnaflow off because it was extremely loud with my setup.

Add headers and a cam, that will wake it up! I know it did on my car.

add an e cutout and crack it open a little. If you see a cop, close it.

Ya know what i did? I dropped the muffler, and on the top of the muffler I got my 3 inch cutoff wheel and cut a |____| shape in it, peeled it up, removed all the fiberglass, closed it back up with my tig welder, but you can use any welder, put it back on the car, and WOW. WOW!!!!! Custom brian-flow exhaust! Sounds AMAZING! Id give you guys a sound clip but I have ditched the magnaflow system for a turbo.

Sorry guys was out of pocket a while. Got LT and ORY with no Cats. Do have a DMH cutout and do have it about half open. What bugs the hell out of me my son (has 01 SS) put on the polished Magnaflow and mine Stainless and his was louder. He has the same headers, ORY and Cutout. Maybe the Polished magnaflow is a different pipe? He to has a oval like tips (not quad).

CAM is in the plans, but the speed shop guys I've talked to tell me if you're going to do it do it right. Meaning, don't piece meal things, heads, CAM and FAST and TB.

I'm goaling for 450-500 range (naturally) and am at 362 right now.

Any thoughts, do CAM now rest later or save to afford the whole package?

If the head/cam/intake is you goal/plans I would save and do them all at once. I like one big gain over little ones at a time.
