Are duals worth it?
I've had both and have recently went back to a ORY. I loved the way my TD's sounded but the drone on the hwy killed my ears and I got tired of not hearing the radio. Now it's got a good tone and I cant hear it on the hwy. Car still runs just as good.
Well I am gonna weigh back in on this as I decided to make the switch back to an ORY and Magnaflow catback. I just got tired of the scraping, I wake up my family when I come home late, girls complain and want to know why its so loud, I blew most the speakers in the car trying to hear it over the drone at highway speeds, and Im pretty sure my interior is rattling apart. Just not worth the minimal gains over an ORY setup especially for a DD...if it was a weekend car it wouldnt be as much of a problem...
just did mine last week.. pacesetters/magnaflow x-pipe/dual outlaw flowmasters/dumped b4 axle.. sound way better then y pipe setup in my opinion..

just got done fabbin up my duals. it takes a while to do if you want it done right and tucked good. best way to go is on the passenger side of the driveshaft tunnel. it took a lot of hours but im more than happy with my 2.5 sweet thunder set up. i don't even have a cross over yet put it still sounds amazing
