Default Are duals worth it?

I currently have L/T's into a single 3" with high flow cat and no muffler which splits back into 2 pipes out the back on my WS6, is it worth the cash flow to get the system redone into true duals?

It was worth it to me to get the yawning cat Y pipe sound out of my car. They also say true duals will provide better power over the curve than a Y

I have more ground clearance with my duals than with the MAC Y pipe. I used to have a mac y and corsa cat, and I had all kinds of issues with clamps and leaks everywhere...I hated it....but it sounded good......my true duals were custom 2.5" over the axle, not one rub or sound or vibration ever.. and cheap...$350 from cats to the tips, with bullet mufflers and welded mandrel bends.....I guess it depends who did/does the work!! I am very please

go true duals, i love my car way more just because of how it sounds. should perform better too. i sacrificed some ground clearance but only a problem when a bunch of people are in the car.

awesome, thanks for the advice guys. Since ground clearance was mentioned, im lowering the car with some KYB AGX shocks with Suspension Techniques springs that are estimated at 1.3" of drop. If i go with tru's how bad, if any do i need to worry about ground clearance? (besides the dreaded "undercarriage killer" speed bumps)

What does a true dual go for anyways? Ive been thinking about it lately because the cost of a premium cat back may be as high as going true dual. Anyone have good luck with their custom fab'd kits?

I might take the plunge and go with true duals. I have a lowered car but its not my DD so i dont drive it much, and i dont drag people around in it either..... If I do it, im going with 2.5in piping.

Duals are worth it for the sound alone! If you're lowered much, stick to 2.5" and you'll have enough ground clearance. Sound clip of mine in sig.....

I will be fabbing up my true duals in a couple months. I'm gonna make my own, so clearences, and exit points will not be an issue. Im just not a fan of dumps...
