Ya'll need to remember you could take some hot oil or a heat go and expand your current lids to 100mm if you wanted. Also everyone needs to realize have the MAF fit inside the klid is not a good thing. It needs to sit flush withe lid to prevent turbulence and allow for a smooth air flow through the MAF to allow better air flow readings

on a stock intake manifold.. a lid is a lid... slp.. whisper. blah blah..
now when your gettin into a FAST combo you need the lid with the biggest possible mouth/opening. no sence in having a 90-92mm intake with a <78 mm lid eh?

Bulllllllsh*****tttt.... Ive tested 6 different lids on a 500 rwhp n/a fbody...ive seen 20 rwhp between brands.
Our testing was done with very large fans in front of the car with the hood closed to simulate real world conditions.
The best being UPD's 90mm lid, followed by Fast toys 90mm raised deal (4 rwhp less), followed by most of the other brands...
Also, the worst was the K&N filtercharger with the metal radiator shroud piece that blocks off flow below the filter. With the hood open it makes good #'s, with the hood closed, it lost 20 rwhp. We cut the metal shroud bottom and picked up 5rwhp but still lowest results with hood closed.
