Default Finally installed the new E3 spark plugs and love'em.

So I saw these plugs on Horsepower TV about 2 weeks ago and saw that the engine ran cleaner and had more hp on an LS engine so decided to purchase the plugs for my Z. I have notice quicker start ups and it seems like the the engine is running more efficiently. Have yet to run around on them but will let ya'll know how they are.So far so good.

Did you notice that they also installed a FAST intake? They showed the stocker then the FAST back to back, right in the middle of how they were talking about how they kept all of the test parameters the same except for the plugs.

the only time I saw them put the fast intake was when they put the intake, rockers, and cam and lost over 100hp+ due to the computer being wrong tune. You must have missed the show where they dyno tested the before aftrer the plugs and measure the cleanliness of the engine with some weird gadget and measured the hp with the engine dyno.

i think it's funny you mention quicker startups.

the t/a in sig had 79k miles and 10 years on the stock plugs and would fire in less than a half revolution, every time...any quicker than that is esp.

I've put E3's into 2 different cars and they both seem to run smoother and gas mileage went up about 8% no joke. I'm about to put them in my firebird!

I did a google search and read there may be some quality control issues on these. It's easire for me to just stick with tr55's and swap every 10 -15K

What did the plugs look like that you took out? We've been looking into this for a long time and we've yet to see a legitimate test done.

Thats prety cool that you noticed quicker start ups with them. Where the plugs that you pulled out realy fouled up? $7 a plug isn't too bad..One of my buddys is spending alot more than that on Brisk spark plugs.

Good thing you demodded it. It would suck to **** the rear end out from the massive load from all the extra power the first time you got on it.
