Listen to these guys.

IMO a custom y-pipe is the only way to go. Poly or soild mounts will help with the banging too.

im also interested in a new ORY.. the car had hooker competition series headers on it when i bought it so i assume the ORY is a hooker setup but with the car being lowered a little (not sure the spring setup either) my ground clearence is horrible..

would the pacesetter ORY work with the hooker headers? anyone know..

and which header gaskets are you guys using? ive already tried aluminum gasket and i blew them out in less than 2 months.. the first one in 1 week..

Have you ever noticed how long the stock gaskets last? Try those out

Yeah I have re-used mine at least 8 times. Probably time for a new set, but no leaks so far.

I bought the QTP Y and spent hours trying to get it to fit nicely with good ground clearance, NO DICE. I ended up bringing it to a shop and spending 30 bucks to have them modify the pipe to fit nicely. If I had to do it all over again, I would buy the flowmaster merge and get a custom one made.

Go custom with a Flowmaster merge. My friend has one and it took 99% of the nasty rasp out of his exhaust.

This is going to be the best flowing and best sounding option for you.
