I have never had any trouble getting a hold of DMH...I bought one then ordered a pair for another system and then another one for a friend...got them on the phone on the first call each time and Dave took good care of me...as far as I know they are the only vendor with the four year warranty...I hit a semi tire gator on the interstate with the first one I bought and all it did was unplug the cutout ....pluged it back in and it is still working today ...the part now has over 130,000 miles on it and is still going strong....I would have to say that you are the exception to the rule because I do not know anyone else who has had trouble with a DMH cutout while everyone I know with a QTP has had problems with their **** ....

I had trouble with my QTP and McCord also. DMH was the only one who never got back to me about repairs so I swore them off forever. My link above goes into more detail about my saga.

Ive owned many qtp cutouts. I know it would be real hard for the motor to just fall off, They use lock tight on the bolts and they are tq'd in there pretty good. If it is a qtp send it in and let them fix it for yah, repairs are cheap and they will send it back fast. They do have great customer service.

I had them repaired, sold them shortly thereafter. I was told I was "abusing them" and they wouldn't be repaired again. I decided they wouldn't get my business anymore due to their abrasive support policies. Maybe things have changed since then as this was a few years ago but it still leaves a bad taste with me.
