The Z28 with the Jet Hot's is my buddy, Dave's car. I like the sound of it alot. He keeps it in my shed and I go out and start it every now and then, just to hear it and smile. Although, that car with the QTP's sounds pretty sweet too.

This is a really good idea. I you decide to go with this setup, please post a video or sound clip. I'd love to hear it. It'd also be great to know how compatible the Jet Hot LT's and the QTP Y-pipe are together.

American Racing Headers. Pacesetters are good if money is running low, but try to do it right the first time. Whatever you decide, try to get stainless!

I say LPP hands down, im very happy with that setup. Theyre all 321 stainless and priced a tad higher than the ceramic pacesetters. Im running LPP headers and ORY and through the magnaflow it sounds great, deep and rumbly at idle but at WOT it just screams. Ask NALMAK, we raced (before his heads and cam) and when I went WOT he was covering his ear, said he nearly went deaf

I have kooks with kooks catted y and magnaflow cb. Quite mellow at idle but screams at WOT with no rasp. When researching for mine I came across a consistent answer that rasp comes from a poor y pipe so make sure you don't cheap out on it.

We did the install this past winter. Finished it in early March. Anyways...he had the headlight lenses out to get polished. Didn't get them back until after the install. (Obviously.) They were very hazy and yellow. Dave and I have a friend who owns a body shop. He cleaned them up and now they look 100 times better.

oh that makes sense lol. so im just wondering why the qtp car is so much louder that ur friends car? both lts, ory and magnaflow? i was told that ARH sounds amazing but i really dont want it to sound like that QTP car , i really love how daves car sounds so i would not get stainless for that sound lol

I have Pacesetters with a magnaflow and I have 0 rasp and I love the sound. Pacesetters are still a good header.
