Stock tuning on a stock car has a slightly fat A/F ratio to begin with. I've seen this many times on a dyno.
By adding a ported TB, you allow more air to enter at higher RPM's and that's where the extra HP is coming from.
More air + same fuel tuning = a tad leaner = a few more HP up top...

That was my car that lost hp with Bauers TB. The AFR was no different on both runs, I dont have the dyno sheets any longer since I handed them over to the new owner of my car. Overall the quality of the TB was top notch, very good/smooth porting job. I told him of the results which surprised the both of us a little and also told him that I wasnt going to start telling everyone because I'm not into bashing. My set up just didnt like the ported TB for whatever reason. Will I get another ported TB when I do my next project? Most likely.

All I know is that I was running consistant 13.0's @ 108.5ish for about 15 runs.
Put on a Bauer TB, and first run out, ran a 12.89 @ 109.8. Then backed it up with a 12.86, 12.91, and a 12.90 all at 109.x.

I think that Billiumss is correct. 11hp is a lot otherwise. I suspect based on some not so scientific results there is a gain on an already tuned car. My MAP went from 40 to 42 after the install. I ran my best times. My mph went up .79 and on that run I had to let up on the 1-2 shift.
