Well I don't know if I would call it a factory freak but from what they said at RPM and from what I've read on this forum I'm making really good numbers for what I have done. 360 rwhp and 375 ft lbs with the mods in my sig. The tune wasn't even on a dyno, my manager at the Cadillac dealership I used to work at just hooked up a laptop and started changing numbers and **** and then took it for a WOT run.

Im not sure if this is a freak or not, but I got 330 rwhp and 342 rwtq out of my 1998 Z28 M6 on a Mustang dyno. Only mods done are loudmouth exhaust and ported/polished thorottle body.

I once saw an 02 Z28 M6 dyno 345hp 360tq. The one mod I do remember for sure was an open X pipe on stock manifolds This was back in 02-03. Im not even sure he had a lid i know he just about had every free mod and then some but everything else was stock. Not sure on a tune maybe that was his secret but he insisted in no tune. Anyways every one at the dyno was like

My old roomate Michelles's 02 WS6 A4 w/ a lid and catback made 321 rwhp and 331 with a cutout.

Another buddy's 01 WS6 M6 made 325 rwhp bone stock.

my car put down 351rwhp/355rwtq with just full exhaust/ported TB and a stage 2 ram powergrip HD clutch......No tune or anything....and it trapped 111 on street tires at the track from a idle on a 80* day.

I dynoed 342hp and 351tq w/ cut-out opened, stock exhaust mainfolds, and run mid 12's at 112-113mph.

Had a 01 C5 the other day that was an automatic and it's ONLY (really) mod was a cold air / new intake pipe and it made 329rwhp on a dynojet 224. Even rich, it knocked terribly on the stock tune.

i might be one.... car ran a 13.5@ 108.2 with the mods in my sig, this was at SIR in tucson unprepped on 7/15/09. oh....the DA was 6300ft on the run. drag times fixes that to a 12.6area @ 115-116. and its not tuned. let me know what you guys think. 2.3 60fts suck.

with a lid and c/b the car went 13.2@108 at 2700ft, so its good to know the headers helped haha.

I wouldn't say it is a freak, but more to your good driving abilities. People have been able to get a M6 F-Body to run 12's in stock form.

Thanks for the kind words sir ... Lots of automatics get there but 6 speeds are a different story... did it on the cheepest BFG tires that came on a Z28...the car had a 118 mph speed limiter on it ....

109 traps seem pretty strong to me, I would qualify this car as a "freak."

This thread needs more track times and less dyno numbers. An intake, exhaust, tune ls1 isn't making 360 rwhp, that's like 430 at the crank if you assume only 15 percent drivetrain loss which is BS. I had a dyno operator play with some settings and he printed out a 500rwhp dyno for my car, does that mean I have a freak too????

My good friend has an 02 SS 335hp package M6 that in BONE STOCK form (even the paper filter) pulled off a 12.64 @112 with a 1.7 60'. Pretty damn impressive. If I had not have seen it, I would call B.S.

I was going more off the fact of his ET was very good, due to his driving more so the decent mph. Either way, that is something be happy about. I think basing what a freak is off Track times doesn't really display how the car is a freak. There are a lot of factors including the driver that can influence the result. Dyno numbers tend to show better what kind of power and if the car is a freak or not. Just imo.
