Default Magnaflow vs. Loudmouth

I have the loudmouth on my car now, along with Kooks headers and their mini cats. I also have the TR230 and the car has just gotten really loud to the point I am attracting alot of unwanted attention (cops)

I was curious what the sound difference would be if I swapped the LM for the mag, and also I'm making 403 rwhp right now, will I be hurt at all by adding the maganflow(5, 10, etc. rwhp) ....thanks

If you want quiet, go with SLP Dual Dual.
Add a cutout to compensate.

Magnaflow is almost just as free flowing as the LM, and will still get nice and loud when you step on the gas ... just be much quieter when you stay off the gas. I think you'll love it.

I had LM now I have MagnaFlow. If you really take it easy, Mangaflow quiets things down considerably. No drone, less rasp. It is still damn LOUD when you get on it though!

I just bought a full magnaflow system to replace my LM since I'm getting Pacsetters with ORY and a TR224 cam.

From what I've heard it sounds awesome, and looks great.

Just put a Bullet style muffler on your I pipe. This will quiet the Loudmouth down and still sound good.

I'm stuck between the SLP LM or the Magnaflow systems for stock manifolds and cats. I found both for the same price brand new shipped. So should I choose one according to sound? From what I have been reading, they flow about the same, the LM is louder and can rasp, and the Magnaflow is deep and mellow. Which one to choose?

I have a magnaflow catback possibly for sale. I want to take advantage of Texas speeds pacesetter sale. PM me if your interested. It shines like brand new. Its all stainless, no dents or dings. Only about 3000 miles on it. No bad weather except for a little bit of rain.

I love how my LM sounds....through stock manifolds and cats, I would imagine it would be hellacious through a TR230 and Kooks, you might should check out Hooker I have heard nothing but good about their catbacks.

HI,
I had the LM but swiched to the Magnaflow and it is more refined sound. Even the SLowstang guys I work with likes it. Got it mainly for my daughter. Almost tall enough to ride in the Hawk.

I had a loudmouth on my car with stock manifolds and cats. I just got Jet Hots waiting to be installed, so I posted up on a local board to see if anyone had the magnaflow with LT headers, no cats. I found someone local and went to see him. Startup, idle and cruise are quieter through his Magnaflow/Long Tube/ORY setup than my Stock/Loudmouth setup. I was floored at how quiet it was. We went for a short ride and when he got on it, it screamed. I was very impressed with the setup. I bought a Magnaflow that night(fmagee@netzero.net for the link) for $325 shipped. Got it in 2 days and put it on in 1 1/2 hours in my garage. It sounds great through the stock setup as well, but the lack of noise from losing the LM takes some getting used to.
