Default Best Throttle Body For an LS6 Intake?

Just like it says guys, I'm swapping an LS6 intake manifold onto my car, as well as an 226/236 ASA cam, new pushrods/springs etc. Whats the best/biggest TB I want to run with the LS6 intake? I'm considering just paying a local guy to port and polish my stock LS1 TB, but since I'm getting the car tuned once I have it all installed and want to get the most out of my tune/mods on the car. Whats my best bet here guys? I appreciate any help, thanks

For now your best bet would to get your TB ported and polished, if you decide to do Heads and bigger cam i would suggest Fast 92 IM and NW 92 TB

Most people just get a p&p tb. I Ported my LS6 intake to 80mm and I have a p&p 80mm bbk tb. <--which was a nice improvment

Is there a huge power gain to be had between my LS1 TB ported and polished as opposed to an aftermarket one? Hopefully I will eventually be going to a Fast 92/90 setup with a nice set of heads. I'm shooting for 400 rwhp with this new setup, hopefully it will make it and thats why I'm trying to make sure the TB/Intake setup makes the best power for the money.

I have a bo white ported TB sitting next to me. I just upgraded to a 92mm. You could buy mine for 75 shipped and sell your stocker for about 50 and have 25 bucks in a sweet ported TB, and you would have no down time.

pm me if you are interested.

screw all that send that ls6 out to lingenfelter...yeah will port out your intake and put a 90 mm snout on it...a ported ls6 flows just as well as a regular fast....why spend 800 when u can have the same results for 600?

Now that is some funny sheeeeit ...

But now back to reality ... to the OP your best bet would be to take the guy up on his offer on the Bo White ported TB ... his work is second to none and the guy is practly giving the TB away.
