yeha you'll only need to, tune the rear 02's out . . . btw i never had the problem of a y-pipe banging because i ditched it and went with 3" true duals use the steel gaskets from GM IMO and be careful with those spark plugs and wires!! good luck

Right. I guess all I am saying is when you purchase four extensions from Marylandspeed you get a better deal on them. But, yes, you will only need two and they'll probably end up costing about $21 apiece.

alright guys thanks alot for the input...ill just be ordering two 12" extensions once my LT's come in. i really want to get a true dual setup in the future and forget the ******* y-pipe and make a 'real' exhaust!

pacesetter(k-mart) headers.mufflex makes a part that attaches to driver side of y pipe then to body(rubber in middle) to stop this.i have one in box (my car dose not (bang floor) with my arh 2in lts .if you want it i will let it go cheep.new was like $40.

I purchased the same Mufflex Clamp and didn't end up using it. If you upgrade the motor mounts you won't need this clamp.

ahhhh true duals . . . it is a awesome sound with sweet thunder mufflers!!!!

i just recently put hedmans in using their ory and had no banging issues whatsoever and my mounts have 140 k on them i think thats awesome given they are cheaper than pacesetters and they fit better no modification to the k-member either!
