I've heard of people complaining about them wearing out way too quick.

We have a spark tester setup in my auto class and tested a variety of plugs, including an e3 and tr55, and the only issue with the e3 and alike plugs was the spark isn't a constant in a specific area...it would never spark at the same spot and the spark was blue rather then white such as the TR55 and every other old style design...I'll keep my TR55's for now

what is the disadvantage of not having the spark in the same spot? isn't that the point of this design?

If the spark is always in a different spot you will have different flame front travel each firing, which could result in power output fluctuations from cylinder to cylinder. Consistent is better.

That wasn't really what I was getting at, was just throwing it out there. I was mainly getting at the spark was no where near as hot as the spark on the NGK

Complete fraud. Snake oil at its best.

The 1% of suckers that companies prey on buy them.......

If you knew how many millions of dollars are spent on new motors at GM trying to find even 1 mpg, don't you think that if these plugs did ANYTHING, that they would use them in a heartbeat? Save your money.

Whats your point? The majority of F body parts were made in Mexico and assembled in Canada, and NGK is a Japanese subsidiary.

And like everyone else said I doubt they would hurt performance but I doubt they will improve it unless you replace bad plugs.

China and Japan are 2 totally different countries. 1 makes garbage, the other actually makes some respectable stuff.

I have 4000 miles on mine and forgot they were there. It's really not that serious.

spark plugs, plug wires, and aftermarket coils are not going to do anything to help a N/A car unless they replace parts that already have issues

I've run the E3 plugs in my truck for 1 year now. Saw no change in performance, gas mileage or anything else for that matter. No negatives to report either though. 110K on the truck right now.
