Default Burnt Rubber smell and hissing noise from engine...

Hey there. I have a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6. Today when I shut it off I noticed a strong burnt rubber smell coming from around the engine and it would keep making a hissing noise every 10-15 second. I had the a/c on while driving but this is the first time this smell has ever happened. Any help?? Thanks guys...

Maybe start by looking for a hose, wire down on the exhaust system??

A/C condensate hose from the air box, maybe drooling
on the header rather than straight to pavement?
