Default SS Hooker Headers?

my z28 in sig has a set of hooker ceramic coated 1 3/4 headers. They were on the car when I bought it recently, wich I thought was nice. The problem is they are damn near rusted out!!! The car just turned 12k mi, the previous owner said these were installed at around 6k mi,(so they are roughly 5yrs old with 6k mi on them) Wtf?? The car has never seen harsh conditions, but these headers look like they were drug thru a michigan winter. The rest of the exhaust looks good too, as does the whole underbody!
Anyways I seen hooker has the same headers in stainless steel now and they are only 530.00-550.00! Is anybody running them? Do they fit the same as the ceramic headers, it looks like they should? I tried a search and only found pricing on them, Thanks!

Wow, didn't know they made a SS set. Would also like to know how fit is. I'd rather not have to cut on my car if possible.

I have ceramic coated Hookers and they are a little over year old and rusted. I am VERY disappointed in them and would not recommend them to anyone. The car sat for 1/2 the year to as I lived in MI and I stored the car for the winter.
As far as I know, the stainless version is the exactly same, just different material.

fitment is GREAT!!! i installed them myself and didnt have a single problem getting them in.. everything lines up perfect and u dont have to do any trimming of any sort to make them fit.. i had a set of flowtechs and thoughs were complete garbage the drivers side hit the K memeber the hookers dont even come close to hitting the Kmember

Nice!!! Are they 409 or 304, because two different stores claim differently? Does not really matter to me, just curious tho.
