TTS headers: pic of AIR connection

Look at this pic: the AIR pipes enter about 1/2" in the exhaust.
Is it normal? Looks so strange to me....
This is a pair of TTS LT headers for my 98 TA.

looks strange...my pacesetters arent like that...that would be very turbulent.

mmh... should I grind them out to get the AIR ends close to the inner wall of the pipe? A Dremel should fit.
Just hope the TTS aren't a POS!!!

I asked the same question when I got mine. I believe they do that so you don't burn out the check valves in the air system. It does add a bit of turbulence, but saves the check valves. If you grind them down you will ruin the hot coat in that area. I would call TTS first.

Not to change hte topic but, daddy ss where do you live in woodcliff lake? I live in park ridge, ever see the black ws6 around with the thunderracing windshield banner?

I'm just off Saddle River Road near Ingersol Rand and go into Park Ridge often but I have not seen your WS6.
