DMH cutout questions
1) What switch comes with the DMH cutout? I've done searches here and on google, and I've seen 2 types- a small rectangular one, and a round one. The description on the DMH setup says the switch is .75x.5 so that leads me to believe its rectangular, but on the other hand, I see recent threads not even a month old showing newly installed ones with the circular switch. So which is it? Kind of retarded and frustrating how DMH's website shows like 50 pictures of the cutout installed, but not even ONE picture of the switch!
2) How do you know when the cutout is fully open or fully closed? Is there an indication light or lights? My QTP HAD a small LED light, but the stupid thing never worked, so I had to press the switch and hold it while listening to hear if its all the way open or closed. I'm sure that contributed to that stupid shaft breaking, but I had no other way of knowing when to let up other than going by sound as the motor speed didnt at all seem to be consistant or responsive.
DMH has a 3 year warranty so that awesome
2) You have to know. I timed it the first time, and now I just count it in my head. It's about 3 seconds for mine.
Your best bet is just to call DMH with the number provided on their site. He'll be able to answer your questions directly.

And oh, just for the record, he said that by default, they come with a round switch because most people want to just be able to drill a hole for installing them, but he also has the rectangular switches available, and actually he thinks the rectangular ones work better, but said you have the choice of whichever one you want when ordering. I'll probably be going with the rectangular one. I have a dremmel and dont mind making a rectangular cut if the switch works better

I'll get vids of it on the new 370 setup with DMH soon as I get a chance
