Default Lowered, LTs, and TDs. any pics?

ok my car is lowered... quite a bit, eibach sportline springs. im about to buy everything to do my exhaust and i know im going with longtubes, but i want True Duals 2.5" out the back because i love the sound they make. ive never heard a Ypipe setup sound like TDs. i was wondering if anybody had this setup? even if its dumps and not out the back. how bad am i going to scrub on everything? i figure im going LTs, Flowmaster Xpipe, 2.5" piping down the middle as close to the Driveshaft and i can get, then split out and 1 pipe go on each side of the main chunk of the rear axle, dynomax bullets, then tips. another question is should i try and run both pipes on the pass. side of the Torque Arm, or should i run one on one side and the other pipe on the driveshaft side? any help would be great appreciated.

what kind of longtubes are you thinking? if your car is lowered just be careful driving around and you should be fine. dont go over speed bumps at 100 mph haha. i would try and run a custom x pipe with dunomax bullets dumped before the axle, sounds reall good (look on ls1sounds.com)
ps- if you have inspection then run some magnaflow or slp high flow cats but if no emission then get some race headers and ory, sounds good with no cats and also your engine bay will look alot cleaner with that air and erg **** gone.

already deleteing air, no we dont have emissions yet, but theyre talking about bring it back so im getting block off plates for the AIR so i can put it back on if neccessary. ive heard with dumps but its a bit louder in the car than i want, and to me Trans Ams just dont look right in the back without exhaust tips... ive been to ls1sounds but i cant seem to get any of the clips to play.

as for LTs idk what brand im getting yet, still debating Pacesetter or Ebay brand. i see alot of people having good luck out of the Ebays

i bought the pacesetter lt's with the new tsp 3in ory....love the combo. i have a catback so i got a cutout but you can run the duals out the back but its just more money to fab up. i do agree that trans am's look naked without tips ha

big bill, are you lowered though? i dont wanna scrub holes in my exhaust. as for price going out the back, if i buy my tips and mufflers, all piping and welding was priced to me for $140 locally.

i am not lowered but my roomates camaro is and he has longtubes and ory. if its only 140 for all the piping then i would do that. get some good looking tips for that bumper man. i would go with some dynomax bullets, mag bullets, or some borla xr1's those three are good race straight thru designed mufflers

i had tds, and my ground clearance was okay. i am on hotchkis/koni which is the same height as stranos. i still scrapped on speed bumps and inclines but it wasnt bad. i now have a ypipe and its much better.

my buddy has a formula and before he went to stranos he had sportlines. He has QTP headers and a custom true dual setup over the axel. He got the PHB relocation bracket. If you know a good exhaust guy, he shouldnt have a problem tucknig it up close. the lowest part of my buddies exhaust is is headers, and unless its a mountain of a speed bump, he rarely scraped.

I have more clearance on my TD's then on my ypipe except for where the tips are. but since they dump right at the axle I don't have any problems with scrapping. I'm at the stock height though. I would like to see some pictures as well of TD's and lowered cars. As for the mufflers, from what i've read the 12" bullets have more drone to them and interior noise than the 18" do. I would go with the 18".

Here is mine at stock height. The lowest part is the tips. I don't scrap on anything so far. My driveway has a huge drop off also.

I have the Eibach 1.5" kit, and my Y-pipe is maybe 3.0" off the ground. I have nightmares about speedbumps.

I have 2.5 true duals, 1-chamber flowmasters, h-pipe, dumped before the axle. I am also lowered on strano springs. I can go over speed bumps, inclined driveways, pretty much anywhere I could go with my y-pipe. Just dont go over speedbumps at like 15mph and any true dual setup made by a good exhaust shop should be fine.

I have Strano Springs/Konis. Still on the upper perch and I have the isolators.

Anyways, I have Pacesetter LTs and Custom TD Dumps.

I scrap a good amount on big speed bumps, and inclines. Since this happens i just dont go over those things. I avoid them and will literally park somewhere else and walk my *** so i dont scrape my exhaust.

Here are a couple pics. My system could have been built a lot better...

Since this picture was taken, the driver's side tip has been shmushed even more.
