Thumbs up New! MTI Billet Throttle Body

New! Polished billet aluminum high flow throttle body. Flows well over 1000 CFM and bolts directly to stock, LS6 or the new FAST intake manifold. Beautifully high polished finish with black anodized linkage and "MTI Racing" machined on the top. Comes complete and ready to install with 3 stainless allen head screws. This is an incredible appearance item that makes great power on the dyno! MTI has witnessed a 10 - 12 rwhp gain on a cam only 6-speed Trans-Am. $399.

I like the looks, but not the price. What approximate size is this in mm for comparison?

Also, since you are custome making them, could you make them without the throttle body lines and the PCV hose nipple? I would hate to buy a new throttle body and throw a bunch of zip-tied plugs on it.

And I was wondering about the size too.

T-body exit size is 75mm. We will be producing a larger unit (90mm) soon for larger c.i. engines to be used with the FAST intake. C5 Corvette units are still a while off since they are far more complex to get right but we are working on that one too. This current unit will fit all '98 - '02 F-bodies and the 2004 Pontiac GTO. I do not know how this T-body compares to the Shaner or others. We did our dyno & flow testing against a stock piece and were very pleased with the end result. The bodies are initially CNC machined and I cannot have any of the provisions removed. We did it this way to keep it 100% emissions compliant.

This T-body is a major focal point when you pop the hood in front of a crowd! I'll post a pic of one on a car soon.

Very Nice, but way too much $$$...

Knock $50.00 off it, chrome it and I'll buy one!!!

Do you have any more pics of it at different angles that are larger in size?

Wow, is that sweet looking.

How does the performance compare your older ported TB? I've been using that for a couple years and wonder if it is worth upgrading if I stay with a 75mm size?

Man, that's nice!

Any idea when the 90mm TBs will be out? That's going to be the hot seller once the LSX intake comes. Maybe run a package with the two? I'm very curious as to what kinda improvements 346ci engines are going to see with an LSX and a 90mm TB.

I saw the pre-release version while getting my 2E heads installed recently. It is a beautiful piece of work.
