Thumbs up How to install LS6 Intake Manifold Video

Hey guys, just got my LS6 intake manifold in a few days ago and spent today installing it and making a how to video. I'm not telling anyone exactly how to do this swap. I'm simply highlighting everything I went through while doing the swap. I hope that this video can help anyone who is looking to do this intake swap themself. Enjoy, any comments are welcome.

*Edit* I fixed the video so it doesn't have me saying the part about the knock sensor being the oil pressure sending unit. Sorry about that guys, I don't want anyone getting bad info.

P.S. I already deleted my egr and air before starting the video, that's why its not there.

!!!!!!!!!!!!UPDATE, BJORN20 WAS NICE ENOUGH TO FIND PART TWO FOR US, THANKS MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nicely done video. One minor thing though, the oil pressure sending unit is the sensor towards the back of the valley cover on the block, looks like a nut with a female connector rising out of the top. The sensor you pointed to was a knock sensor. Awesome install vid though!

Doh, thanks for the info! Well, I hope I didn't break it then. How would I know, would my oil pressure gauge not work?

If you unplug it and then guide the hoses away from it while you are pulling the intake out you'll never break it

Thanks guys. I hope this video helps a lot of people. It makes a world of difference just to see how the intake comes out and little things you may run into.

I installed my long tube headers and started the car and it ran and idled great. I then sent my PCM out to be tuned by Frost and my intake came in after that. I haven't had a chance to have the car running since I installed the intake but I will update when I get my PCM back in a couple days. Hopin to pull around 420hp at the motor.

Good Job bud! Follow this up with a startup video when you get "Frosted" and maybe part 4 video could be a dyno run w/results? I have my intake waiting and I'm gonna get "Frosted" too

nice video, wish I would of watched it last Monday before I broke my oil pressure switch. LS1howto says nothing of watching out for that, or if they did, then I did not see it whichever write up I was in. I have taken the intake on/off 3 times today to get that thing working right, been through 2 switches and about a quart of oil. Nonetheless, good video.

Sorry about your troubles. You must be a pro at installing the intake manifold now though. I haven't even started my car yet after intalling it. I hope it runs good, I think it will.
