LPP seems to be the way to go for stainless race-style headers

American Racing
LPP
SLP's Newly designed headers

All very high quality headers for around $1400

If you don't wanna spend that much, Pacesetter Coated Headers $600

LPP has their LT's, Y-Pipes, and True Dual Setups on sale until the New Year. I bought my Coated Aluminized Jet Hot LT's and Y last year around this time for the same price that LPP is asking for their stainless steel version, right now. If I had it to do over again, I would definitely have gone with stainless. Just something to think about.

even if i had extra cash i stilll dont think i would pay for arh or kooks, i still would have ended up with my lpp because it just doesnt make any sense to me to pay that extra money for the same thing. Its like going out and buying a tshirt, why buy a tshirt for 100 when there is a perfectly good one for 10.

Well that's a good point you made about your budget. I had pacesetters and mines started showing signs of rust at about 2 years and I live in TN. So you may want to get a set of LPP because they are stainless and Kooks, ARH and QTP are all stainless. But IMO I would say look through the classifieds and find you a set of used headers Kooks, QTP or LPP's that come with an Y-Pipe. I seen some Kooks and y-pipe and I think I seen some QTP's over there also. Hell I bought my kooks used off here and they were coated for 500. Just had to get they Y-pipe. I guess that is why every tell you to go stainless cause if you have a good header it's a one time deal and your done period.
