Poly Tranny mount install help? Pics?
I'm going to install the poly tranny mount I bought from ws6store. Going to start the install Friday night. The kit comes with some flat washers and some locking washers. Do I need to use those? I thought I read something about not using washers with the mount on a f body. Also going to install the motor mounts. I know, fun fun. If anyone has a tranny mount write up, that would be great. Pics too.

is the trans mount prothane or energy suspension?
just did mine a few days ago. if it's an energy suspension one shave off the 2 bumps and don't use the preload plate. they're known to cause vibration. anyway, install is pretty simple. place jack under trans to support the weight, remove 1 bolt holding mount to crossmember, unbolt 4 bolts holding in crossmember, unbolt 2 bolts holding trans mount to trans. then just reverse the steps and you're done.

I measured. energy bushing with no preload plate is the exact same height as the stock one. i cut the bumps off and installed it with no plate and it doesn't cause any added vibration whatsoever. never would have known it was there.
