charging issues....
charging issues.... had some charging issues, went to oreillys, they tested the car with battery/alternator on....seems as regulator maybe was weak so they gave me another alternator, i have lifetime warranty, well, i use the car roughly a week or mor turns on fine and so on, i see the volts about 13 or slightly below.
yesterday, i click unlock on the remote and notice the horn/lights were slow in responding... and now i play with lock/unlock on the remote and notice the horn was weak.
what do you think it cna be it? a weak alternator again? or does it fall into the line of a short? or do i just need more ampage?

Did you have any work done on the car prior to this problem?
Sounds like it could be a short somewhere?
I'd take the battery out and have it tested separately just to make sure it's fine.

when the car is Not running, obvisouly the alternator cant recharge the battery if it isnt Moving.
so, if u'r lights are dim with-out the car running, the battery is weak.
but it could be weak because a light or something is staying on(something is drawing it down) but like i said, it is not an alternator problem if it does it when its not running.
get a new battery or borrow one from a friend (just swap batteries) i bet it fixes it
besides people at O'rielys arent Mechanics (they are just Parts people)
