Default 01-02 Hooker headers on a 99??

I'm sure this has been asked before.. but, will 01-02 Hooker headers fit on a 99 motor? I have a chance to get a set cheap because the driver's side AIR tube had a bad weld and the whole thing blew out so i'm going to weld it back up. I'm going to be taking off the AIR and EGR so there shouldn't be any difference other than EGR should there (since there is no EGR on 01-02)? I'm assuming they aren't designed any different right?

Any help would be great!

Chris

WILL NOT WORK WITH YOUR 99 Y pipe. Only way is to use the 01-02 Y pipe too. Or of course a "custom" y pipe.

IMO save yourself the trouble. The shorty are not worth it.

Oh i'm sorry I didn't specify, they are Hooker Super Comp Long Tubes..

And, yes my EGR codes and rear O2's will be deleted.

Thanks for the help!

They do fit, I did it on mine. Just make sure you have a way to deal with your EGR and AIR tubes.

they WILL fit....I have 99/00 Hooker headers on my 01 (got mine before the 01/02 set came out).....only thing is the 99/00s have an extra connection point for the EGR that will not be on a set of 01/02 headers
