3" Duals X / Flowtech Afterburners Installed!
Basically everything from the cats back is newly fabricated, fully madrel bent.
Actually, we started just behind the O2 sensors to keep the bungs.
The guy braced the X junction and hung it from the tunnel brace brackets.
The mufflers you see are Flowtech Afterburner Mufflers. At $39 each, you can't go wrong, and they flow very well.
Butt dynamometer says there were ponies picked up, and suprisingly much power gained at the low end (enough to send my drag radials spinning thru 1st and 2nd). There was no low end before w/ my cutout in the I-pipe with the old catback.
Car sounds mean.
It is definately THE exhaust setup to have. 3" Duals X all the way!
If anyone wants to hear, please offer to host the clip.
Thanks!

Who did the work for you? How much did it run? Could they do it a full exhaust out the back over the axle?
They priced the setup w/ bullets @ $450.
I went with mufflers instead, so all, installed $480.
What's nice is that you can totally interact with them during the installation.
***PM me for the installer info request***

Bobby
you can definately hear the lope alot better then you could with your old setup. i'll be installing my duals in the next week or so. im excited too
And please post your setup when installed.
After driving around for 3 days, the exhaust has done nothing but impress the hell outta everyone who hears it. People walk up to me at the gas station and ask "what the hell does that thing got in there?". The dudes who work at Ballys came out to hear it and were like WTF!!! At that very moment a guy in an BMW M3 pulled up and said "Holy ****! Be careful with that sumobitch".
Anyhow, I'm enjoying the attention to say the least.
The sound clip provided doesn't do the setup justice, as one can't experience the chest pounding thuds of the cam lope, nor the throat grab of the exhaust tone.
For anyone who has given long hard thought to going true duals, I fully support the venture.
Sorry for the over-enthusiasm, but I'm a newbie to driving a car that sounds like this. I'm sure it's old news to many of ya.
im in miami and would love to hear it in person
the ONLY reason im not going with duals is i want a spohn t/a and it wouldnt fit with serious modifications

Come by Hooters in Town & Country Mall on Thursdays around 8pm.
SFFBA meets there. I don't think we'll be meeting this week though.
Anyhow PM me if you'd like to meet somewhere sometime.
