Default Free Ram Air Mod pics

My buddy did this to his SS with good results and I decided to do the same and share some pics for those who don't know what it is or involves. Thanks Jamie!!! Enjoy.
This is the condenser shroud the lid-base sits on with 2 rectangles cut out of it

This is the lid-base with the lower section cut completely out

This is the base reinstalled on the condenser shroud and the filter plate put back in

Then the lid is back on and everything that has been cut out really shows through the clear lid. I thought it looked cool seeing the path the air takes to the throttle body

When everything is back together it looks and fits exactly as before

The best thing you could add would be something like the sux2bu ram air setup. Search and you'll find it.

Thanks guys. I'm not a new LS1 owner, I just never really cared about doing the free mods that much. I posted these up for people who are new to LS1's and figured it would be cool to show through my TSP clear lid. Thanks Jamie and Justin for the comments.

Thanks man, but it's a TSP lid. They haven't made it in 3 years or so. If I'm not mistaken TSP made this one before MTI made one. I plan on fabbing up a chute or duct for it. Thanks again for the comments!

I did this within about 48 hours of owning my SS lol. I had done it previously on my 91 z28 as well, its amazing what you can do with a dremel and a little time.
