Default Removing engine dipstick

How does this thing come out?, were putting headers on and cant get it out. We removed the bolt up on the head and figured it just pulled out.

I had this problem during my header install as well. First, as already mentioned make sure the bolt holding it to the engine is out. I had to soak the dipstick with PB Blaster where it goes in to the block to get it to come out. I was underneath with vicegrips with someone pulling from the top with vicegrips and we couldn't get it out until the PB Blaster was applied.

no one does, GM only sells it on the new dipstick...least thats what they told me. you would have to get an assorted pack and pick one that fits
