Default 2 cut-outs at the collectors??????????????

What gains would I see if I installed 2 electric cut-outs where my RT cats are, basically immediately after my collectors? And yes, while they're open

Thank ya.

Being that you are running cats even though they are gutted i would say you could probably pick up anywhere between 10-15rwhp. There was a guy a while back that posted dyno comparisons between the dual cutouts and his full exhaust. I don't recall what catback he had but he did have cats and if i remember correctly i beleive he gained about 20rwhp and this was on a H/C car. If you do go with the cutouts they need to be about 12-15in. behind the collectors for best results.

My RT cats are about 3-inches from the tips of my collectors. What if the cut-outs were right there, one cut-out on each side. Basically like open headers I guess.

u dont wanna run open headers, i think i should have 18" of pipe between the collector and the outlet for the sake of the o2's. if u run open headers for a long period of time i think u can cause vavle troubles too

The first set of 02's are in the header itself and my second set after the cats aren't even being used.

What would happen if they were just opened for a race and then shut right after?

Gains HP-wise?

collectors on the headers are right were the 4 headers tubes come together and there is a 3rd collector right where the 2 pipes come together on the ypipe
