Default LS1 Computer

I was considering having my ECM flashed to take off the emissions, VATS, evap canister and rear O2 sensors off of my 1998 Firebird computer. Will taking these improve the performance of my motor in any way (power, mileage, or reliability). The motor runs alright right now, but can I get anymore out of it by doing this.

you wont gain anything by just deleting emissions codes/parts, although it may look nicer under the hood.

No but you will pick up a bit with a mail order tune and tell them to delete torque management while they are at it.....

So the torque management has an effect even if I'm running a Turbo 400.

No it doesn't.

What are you doing to get a VSS signal into the PCM? I ask because it's commonly overlooked and without it, you never get out of idle timing tables.
