What needed for 92 instal??
Just curious as to what all i would need for a 92/92 instal. I have an 00 LS1 and just bought the Fast 92/92 used and it came pretty much just as itself. Will my stock bolts suffice?? Also i assume i'll just get new gaskets for it, do i need the ls6 crossover pipe as well or is there a way around that?? Besides those is anything else needed really??

you can get the new intake gaskets at WS-6 store.you can try to flatten the LS1 coolant lines a little bit to fit under the fast intake.use a plastic hammer and piece of wood.might need a new tune.you need the correct button head bolts for the valley cover bolts,so you don't crack the fast intake.fast sells them ,and TSP also.

I would purchase new LS6 coolant pipes and plugs for the install. Other than that, you should be good to go. You can carry your intake port gaskets over or purchase new ones. Other than that, you should be ready to go. Let me know if you have any questions and we'll get you fixed up!

thanks for quick responses, about what i figured. I'm going to go ahead and do the new gaskets, too many people had leaks without doing them and what's $20 haha. Anyone done here flattened there ls1 coolant line?? Jon you have any used coolant lines you'd sell me?? I just can't go for the $40-50 brand new lines, seems like a waste. If so send me a PM on coolant lines and maybe gaskets shipped to 20124.

I purchased the LS6 pipes and plugs, didnt want to take any short cuts. I picked them up from texas-speed, there were literally here the next day. You bought a $1000 intake but cant afford a $50 part

First off i bought it used so ported intake + TB was less then that. Also i just bought a 9" as well so i'm kind of really short on cash at the moment also being a college student. Trying to get everything put on and tuned for as cheap as possible. Thanks for the info i asked for a price check so i shall see if not then it's junk yard searching i go.

on the intake manifold gaskets, on the OEM GM ones there are locator tabs on them which i can see there is a slot for on the FAST manifold. But on the FAST intake manifold gaskets there is no locator tab. So should I just get an OEM set of intake manifold gaskets or stick with the fast 92 intake manifold gaskets ?

Welll i did it today, i in fact didn't have the new valley cover bolts so i just took a grinder to the tops of mine haha. It worked, actually what ended up happening was the wires in the center of the valley cover ended being too high when they were taped together. I had to unwrap them and try and spread them out to get flattened by the intake. Don't supposed i had any problems because no SES light haha. Don't know what to tell you, my 92/92 came with the Fast gaskets already pressed on (bought used).

if i'm thinkin of the same thing your talkin about then kind of. Like it goes in but it's really loose?? We had an extra like plastic clamp so we broke it and kind of slid it in to hold it down tight.
