You're gonna have to find a really special tampered with dyno to make those numbers.

It'd be the slowest 400whp you've ever seen.

Its probably not worth it if you think about it.. some routes may just be cheaper and yet more beneficial...

You can spend $3000 overall and make 420rwhp or you cna spend $5000 and barely push 400rwhp.. It depends on what you wanna do and what your goals are.

I know some place sells a generation x bolt on package that says 400 hp ,had a friend call them to ask how much it was and the guy said 9 grand lol, just do a cam and call it a day your gonna spend way more trying to get hp that isn't there then if you just got a cam kit from tsp I think there kit with single springs is 589, or you can go buy a 650 dollar water pump and a 200 dollar maf that wil do nothing but look good under your hood,400hp bolt on car would perform like 370 hp bolt on car,if you do get 400 outta bolt ons make sure you get a 400 hp slp badge that would let everyone know you mean buisness lol,we all know slp's numbers are truth lmfao

I like how slp has a 350 hp pack, when the ls1 makes 350 stock. lmao

Note the included 1.85-Ratio Rocker Arms w/ Springs & Retainers (51185)!

wow i made 371wrhp/372rwtq (M6, 3.42s, 10 bolt) with SLP lid, bellow, ported MAF, stock TB, LS6 intake, Pacesetter 1 3/4 LT's, ORY, a cutout, and a 220/224 .530/.534 112 cam. i know i wasn't maxed out on bolt-ons but something tells me my old motor was slow...i wonder if 127k miles helped...

anyways, not to hijack, i think 400 rwhp is a stretch on bolt-ons. sounds like a fun game to play if you have the money, but 400 rwhp, like others said, can be had for a whole lot cheaper with a cam.

with an M6 with a FAST setup you might get close. im thinking youll a cutout, EWP, AC delete and a killer tune.

chrs1313 ram air, largest air lid you can get (100mm?), K&N filter (doubtful but might help a little), speed density (no MAF), 102mm throttle body (can you port those?), ported 102mm FAST with FAST fuel rails, ARH 1 7/8" long tubes into an open x-pipe, underdrive pulley, electric water pump, dyno tuned running on 93 octane with no ethanol (we some have ethanol free available around here). I don't know, think it would be possible then? I think probably not, because even though that would be extremely free flowing for an LS1, you'd still need a head/cam package to take advantage of all those mods to suck more air in and burn more fuel and spit it out.

Or, do all that except tune it to run on E85. Not sure how much power that gains you since I don't know anything about it though, since that is not available anywhere near me.

Oh, and of course "SLP stage 3 400hp fender badges"

If you go with an LS6 i dont see a reason why it cant break 400 with bolt ons. I watched a stock C5 Z with a CAI as the only mod dyno just under 370. I dont see why LTs/exhaust and a UD pulley couldnt take it over 400

Yah, that's a crazy price. I'd say most guys would do all of the bolt-ons listed in the kit. Will the 1.85 rockers really make that much of a differance?

Maybe all that power is from the stickers

that price is ridiculous. the rockers will definitely help some however. 01-02 LS1s would go from .500/.500 lift to .544/.544. but IMO a cam would be better

I would say something is up with that dyno or you have a freak car. Full bolt on ls1 cars usually dyno 340-350 in my experience. I have seen mild cam cars put down 370 but never a bolt on car.

i wouldnt get to caught up over dyno numbers!!! See this all the time in the dyno section... guys claim thier bolton ls1's dyno 370whp and they go to the track to trap 109. Yes rockers are a bolton and have always been considered that, but look for them used... slp 1.85's are way to pricey imo. I got lucky because the original owner arleady forked out the cash for a set w/ .600 lift beehive springs. The 01-02 ls1 have a smaller lift cam than the 98-00...
