Uhh... I'm sitting it in there to view what it's going to look like...trial fit too to make sure I'm not screwing myself with alignment/fitment issues. Don't worry, the original ls6 is sitting there to stop items from falling in AND I've got rags stuffed into the oil return holes above the cam to assist JUST IN CASE something falls in there.

Brian, thank you and I've got MORE pics in the folder these are in

Now, while I'm a picture-*****, i'll not force everyone to see these

A retune will definately be needed. The 2 intakes have completely different flow charateristics. I also think you should move to a custom spec'd cam to take full advantage of the single plane. 112 lsa is a bit wide, I would look into something with 108-110. IIRC your 12 sec passes were on the 3:42 gears and you recently switched to 4:56? Looks good but bear in mind most people leave a lot of power on the table with the elbows instead of the 4150 TB.

My 112 is a 112(+4)... Yes my 12.18 passes (x2 ) were on stock rearend ratio (3.42) So I switched to 4.30s (thanks for remembering I switched ) For now, I'm avoiding chopping the cowl and going w/the full 4150 TB. Got a few I like though (Acufab?) Already making arrangements for HPTuners to be shipped to me...

112 + 4 isn't too bad, that's a 108 icl. But I would still have someone like predator z or pat g give some feedback on it. My ls1 for my 84z will be similar but using tfs heads and a 4150 accufab TB. Is Al still doing your tuning or you going to do it yourself?

Anyhow, id be willing to get you in the 460-475 whp with that setup being that is a giant cam it should peak real nice. Imo the same power can be made with a lsk lobed cam in the low 240s range

2 steps closer. Have all the new ARP fastners in hand and ready to go. Pieces parts returning to me from powder coating and new gaskets/knock-sensor seals ordered. All that in hand and I'll be cooking with gas! ! !

1 1/2 steps back. . . Awaiting new o-rings for injectors from Fuel Injection Connection (all 16 - 8 upper @ 15mm and 8 lower @ 14mm) and awaiting new -6AN/ 3/8NPT elbow for fuel rails connection. . . guess I galled the daylights out of the other one

IF everything works perfectly and the stars and planets are aligned at just the right azimuth I'll have the car moving under it's own power on Thursday. . .

Video can be used against me in a court of law. . . .

Might have to drive down to Mexico (MO) for that. . . (Lucky for me, Mexico is only 135 miles from here. . .)

IT RUNS! ! ! Need to get a new elbow to connect the MAF to the TB. More space between them now. Needs tuned I'm sure after driving it.

Had issues with fuel leaks at damned near every union of the fuel system... almost 4 hours. Once I had fixed the 2nd one and it still leaked, I simply disassembled everything!!! Fixed.

Had idle issues with the cruise control box by the battery. It kept raising the throttle open and 'idled' at about 3K!!! Disconnected it, reconnected it, disassembled it, reassembled it and it finally worked.

Drove it down the street, looked for gas leaks, drove to car wash. Had to bag the MAF (no filter right now) and cleaned the daylights out of it. Drove a few more miles and back to the house.

IT'S ALIVE AGAIN

Video in a few days.
