Good match for GMMG cat-back?
but I want to make sure that the headers I get don't detract or hinder the exhaust in either sound or performance. I am looking at the usual suspects: ARH, Kooks but I'm also considering Dynatech. Does anyone have experience with the Dynatech Supermaxx headers? Which of the ones listed would sound the best in your opinion? Thanks in advance.I have checked out LS1 sounds as well as YouTube and listened to the Kooks and ARH already so please don't jump on me. Ha ha.

it sounds soooo nasty in person...skip it to 1:15 to hear some revs
Also, I will be using a catted Y, with hi-flo cats of course. From what I've heard I'm liking the ARH / GMMG combo, Kook sounds good as well. I've only heard a short clip of the Dynatech, and that sounded good too. I'm actually leaning toward the ARH. I've heard the merge is one of the major selling points, that and the fitment.
GMMG on stock manifolds sounds great. It takes some work to recover that sound quality after an LT install.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I LOVE that car and I'm going to be doing a clone of it when I get my LS1 camaro. I have a '95 right now, it's a V6 so I'm really wanting a V8. So far it's between Kooks, ARH and Dynatech, and which ever one I go with I will be running a catted Y.

did you see my exhasut set up? I also have an e-cutout too. In the start of the vid it is closed. I say in the vid when I am going to open it..
And I'm not sure how to post the clip but anyone who wants to see it, just go to YouTube and search for Tom Henry Camaro SS and it will come up. He has two vids actually. One is just a start-up and idle and the other is a burn-out and in car drive. You can really appreciate the sound of the exhaust with that clip.
Hopefully this works. Ha ha.

Now I'm not sure what make of headers are on the car. I know that GMMG has used Kooks and Dynatech on their cars. So I guess I can just flip a coin but I'm still considering ARH.
Ultimately as long as you have cats (hi-flow) and like the Y-pipe merge and clearance you will be happy.
header and y-pipe and i loved my headers. But now they are made of T-304 instead of coated mild steel like my old FLP's. When i'm ready i wouldn't hesitate to buy the Dynatechs. Some think the smaller 2.5" y-pipe is too small over the 3" pipes that ARH and the others use. If you need every bit of HP then the 3" y-pipe headers would be the choice. But with my very mildly ported 241 heads, Comp. 216/220 .525/.532 114lsa cam Borla CB, a Vig.3600 and a TNT 125HP kit i ran a 10.92 @ 127.71 on a 1.71 60' time and ran a best of 11.77 @ 116.07 mph NA with the FLP/Dynatechs. I doubt if they hurt my performance at all. There's people still running 10's and faster using MAC's..lol. So it just comes down to personal preference i guess.
