i could see maybe 8 horse if you were lucky going from stock manifolds and cats to stock manifolds with no cats.

but if you have a catted y pipe from an aftermarket company, they are high flow cats and you wont see enough to justify the work involved.

when i built my car, i chose to not put them on. but if i were in your sitiuation where they are already on the car, i wouldnt mess with it,.
