EGR & AIR delete questions
I want to remove my EGR & AIR system and I have been reading through the stickies/FAQ and the pictures are no longer available in the write-ups. Does anyone have a detailed write-up or link to one with them? Are there any blockoff plates, etc. that I need to purchase also?
Thank you,
Matt

I was reading through that thread and people are talking about blocking off pieces...do I need any specific plates?

go out to your car, open hood, look on the passenger side header. one of the primaries SHOULD have a i small brass pipe with a 2 bolt flange on it. that is if u DON'T have the race headers. and yes if u delete the egr u need a small block off plate for the primary and a plug for the intake.
if you wait another minute i might be able to find ether a thread or an aftermaket site that shows you what i mean.

You need three total to block off all the header fittings and one on top of the intake to cap off the egr hole. You can find the whole kit on ebay or with some of our sponsors. I made mine and went to advanced auto and got an expandable freeze plug for the intake. Thats all I spent to cap mine off.

I ordered part # 99-86EGR and part # 20-12558346 from here http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...id=223&pcid=54
So I need part # 99-86SP (x2) also.
Also which gaskets?
Thanks,
Matt
